Pokemon: Win or Fail? 127-143

• Name: Crimgan

• Type: Dragon
• Species: Cave Pokemon
• Looks like: a dragon with a scraggly head and holly wings
• Awesome factor: 6/10
• Trivia: Its head is harder than a rock. It is the only prue dragon type that does not evolve. 

I'm not sure what's up with this guys head and wings. I really like him except that his wings look like holly (especially from the back with those red scales) and his head looks really unnatural. He does grow on you, though. Plus he holds the distinction to be the only non-evolving dragon.

• Species: Golem Pokemon
• Looks like: a golem, actually
• Awesome factor: 8/10
• Trivia: Gobitto and its evolution are also Pokemon designed by American James Turner. No other Pokemon have the same type comp as Gobitto and its evolution.

James did a much better job with this guy. He's actually pretty awesome looking and his type is one-of-a-kind. The only thing that bothers me is that his left eye is L-shaped and doesn't match is rectangular right eye.  He actually does remind me of golem a bit, but that makes a lot more sense with this guy.

• Species: Golem Pokemon
• Looks like: the Sym-Bionic Titan. Like, a lot.
• Awesome factor: 9/10
• Trivia: It has the highest base attack of all ghost Pokemon. It can learn fly for some reason.

This guy looks like  a giant stone mech, which is pretty awesome. It's kind of weird, though, because that's a primarily Japanese thing and this is one of only four Pokemon designed by an American.

• Number: 130
• Type: Dark/Steel
• Species: Sharp Edge Pokemon
• Looks like: a swiss army knife 
• Awesome factor: 7/10
• Trivia: These guys live in packs and take orders from Kirikizan, Komatana's evolved form. No other Pokemon has this type combination or a double resistance to ghost types.

This looks like the most dangerous Pokemon ever. Seriously. Komatana can gut you from any angele. At about 1' tall, it seems like it would be easy to fall on top of one of these guys and split yourself open. Seriously, I'd be very careful if I ever had one of these. And never, ever hug it.

• Species: Blade Pokemon
• Looks like: a Mega Man boss character
• Awesome factor: 8/10
• Trivia: Kirikizan learns no moves by leveling up or breeding. What the hell?

This guy kind of looks like he was ripped right from Mega Man, but he's pretty cool nonetheless. I'm not sure what the point of non being able to learn moves, though. That seems really stupid. But I guess you can always teach him some yourself and if he already has a decent moveset it's alright.

• Species: Headbutt Bull Pokemon
• Looks like: a buffalo with an afro!
• Awesome factor: 10/10
• Trivia: It can derail a train with its powerful hadbutts and its afro absorbs all damage. It has a signature move called "afro break". 

I just have to give this guy a perfect score. He's a freaking African-American buffalo (see what I did there?) with an afro and earrings! He's got a move called "afro break"!

• Species: Baby Eagle Pokemon
• Looks like: a baby eagle!
• Awesome factor: 8/10
• Trivia: They are very competitive and battle each other to get stronger. Wasibon is a male-only Pokemon (how is this even possible?).

This is the best first-stage bird Pokemon I can remember since the original 151. The Native American feather is a nice touch.

• Looks like: AMURICA!
• Awesome Factor: 9/10
• Trivia: They are strong enough to fly while carrying a car. They are very brave and will fight to protect their flock without fear. The more wounds it has, the more respect it gets from its peers.

They might as well have called this guy's species "Patriotic Pokemon" because he just screams AMERICA! Still, though, he's got a solid design, though I'm not too keen on that random yellow tail stripe.

• Species: Daiper Pokemon
• Looks like: a buzzard in a diaper
• Awesome factor: 4/10
• Trivia: Baruchai, but not his evolution, was designed by James Turner. It uses skeleton pieces as body armor. It's a female-only species.

This Pokemon became a bit more awesome for me when I realized that thing it's wearing is a human skull and not an eggshell. Still, though, the general design is kind of lame.

• Number: 136
• Type: Dark/Flying
• Species: Bone Eagle Pokemon
• Looks like: a vulture (not an eagle!) 
• Awesome factor: 5/10
• Trivia: It's a scavenger. It still wears bones.
• Black exclusive Pokemon

I give this one props for being better than the pre-evolution (it was designed by somebody else...) but it sill looks like every animated vulture I've ever seen. Jungle Book immediately comes to mind.

• Number: 137
• Type: Fire
• Species: Anteater Pokemon
• Looks like: a fire-breathing anteater with an exhaust pipe tail
• Awesome factor: 9/10
• Trivia: They burn the shells of Aianto's and eat them with their high-temperature tongue. It an Torkoal are the only pure fire Pokemon that don't evolve. 

This guy is one of my favorites. The only reason he doesn't get a perfect ten is because of those wired things crawling up his crotch wich (like the polar bear) really draw attention to it. I love the hands that look like sharp claws attached to a revolver barel, I love the exhaust pipe tail, I love the fire, and I like the yellow stripes. What I don't like are those gray noodle things on its crotch. So close to greatness.

• Species: Iron Ant Pokemon
• Looks like: an evil mechanical ant
• Awesome factor: 5/10
• Trivia: They burrow tunnels through mountains. It has the highest speed of all steel Pokemon. It is the last non-legendary Pokemon in the pokedex that doesn't evolve. It is the prey of Kuitaran. 

It literally looks like an evil mechanical ant.

• Number: 139
• Type: Dark/Dragon
• Species: Wild Pokemon (this will get confusing)
• Looks like: a dinosaur with a bushy haircut
• Awesome factor: 7/10
• Trivia: They are blind and have the energy to bite and ram without stopping. They will eat anything.This Pokemon evolves into its final form at level 64, the highest requirement of any Pokemon; and evolves into its second form at level 50 the highest requirement from first to second stage of a three stage evolution. No other Pokemon has the same type combo.

Another solid dragon Pokemon. It's very interesting that these guys are blind. Not that I can immediately recall ever Pokemon, but it seems like it's the only Pokemon that is.

• Trivia: The two heads dislike each other and will often engage in eating contests.

It's the last guy with two heads and wings. Really not better or worse, just equal and different.

• Type: Dark/Dragon
• Species: Brutal Pokemon
• Looks like: an epic flying hydra
• Awesome factor: 9/10
• Trivia: It has the highest special attack of all non-legendary dark types. It's violent, destructive, and will eat nearly anything.

So now this guy has three heads, but two of those heads are being held in its hands. Kind of creepy and awesome at the same time. It also flies now, apparently.

• Type: Bug/Fire
• Species: Torchlight Pokemon
• Looks like: a fuzzy, horned caterpillar
• Awesome factor: 7/10
• Trivia: It can spit fire from its horns. Of all two-stage Pokemon, it has the highest level requirement, evolving at level 59. It is the last Pokemon in the pokedex that evolves. No other Pokemon has the same type combo.

Interesting type this one has. It looks like a molting larva, who's fir has been used as a hood. The horns on its head gives it a resemblance to the sun.

• Name: Ulgamoth (yup, that's the Japanese one)
• Number: 143
• Type: Bug/Fire
• Species: Sun Pokemon
• Looks like: a giant flowery moth
• Awesome factor: 10/10
• Trivia: It can use its wings to create a sea of fire that can replace the sun. It has the highest special attack and base stat total of all non-legendary but types. It is the only but Pokemon obtained through normal means that can learn fly, though it does not have the levitate ability. It has the highest level requirement for evolution and is the last Pokemon in the pokedex that evolves from another.

This is probably the most epic and powerful bug Pokemon to date. Most bug Pokemon are common, wimpy, and annoying. Not Ulgamoth! You have to earn his greatness! At 5'3" and 101lbs, he's one big ass moth who's fire is powerful enough to replace the sun. And he's the only winged bug who can learn fly.
