Toonami is back, but it still needs your help

Yes, Toonami returns to the airwaves this Saturday night with an all-new lineup. But that doesn't mean you can just sit back and feel satisfied with yourself just yet. See, the budget for Toonami is very, very small. The April Fools' airing was meant as a one-time thing, but fan feedback and support was so overwhelmingly positive that the network decided to bring it back only nine weeks later. But now we have to prove that we meant it. Jason DeMarco, producer of Toonami for all 11 years of its previous run, is back behind the wheel and imploring fans to follow through. If they have the ratings, they'll get a bigger budget and this will literally build a better cartoon show, so to speak. So, what's in store for the star of this so called "experiment"?

Toonami's current lineup looks like this:
12: Bleach
12.5: Deadman Wonderland
1: Casshern Sins
1.5: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
2: Ghost in the Shell
2.5: Cowboy Bebop
3-6: Rerun of block

Two new shows. Not bad, but they can do better. And they want to do better, but that's all they can afford at the moment. TOM will be back and voiced by Steve Blum once again (who is doing it out of love because he's awesome). His design is described as TOM 3.5, wich a nearly identical Absolution from the pre-4.0 era. Sara is out until they get the money to animate her. Peter Cullen is out as announcer because he's busy with Transformers and Winnie The Pooh, apparently. DeMarco says when they can afford a new announcer they'll get somebody like Howard Parker. But here's the good news: Toonami will still have game reviews, music videos, and more of that great stuff like a great lineup of bump music.

So watch, support, and keep Toonami back on the air! All you have to do is watch, and you'll be rewarded with a better and better block.
