This counts as a cover as far as I'm concerned. It's a brilliantly done arrangement of the song that plays during the final boss battle in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

And the excellent arrangement by Jacob Williamson titled "Dirge of the Fourteenth." Embedding disabled by request, and I will respect that. There's a link to the download in the info pane. Not only is it now one of my favorite songs from all of Kingdom Hearts, but it's one of the best arrangements I've ever heard. Yes, he completely re-recorded everything from scratch.
